| you're fine. The point I am trying to make is that they are called "accidents" for a reason. You say "I" alot in your post about your driving and your wrecking. I'm sure others who drop collision insurance feel the same way. "I'm a good driver so I won't wreck and I won't need collision insurance." I have insurance for that other person that I can not account for. Not to mention make up for insurance that they do not have. You can't count on someone else's insurance to make you whole for your loss if it's their fault. If you read my post above...they lady I know was minding her business driving to work and the other lady hit her. The lady at fault had collision insurance that was capped. So that cap was spread across the four cars she hit. The portion of the insurance that my friend received didn't come close to paying for the total loss of her 2002 Acura. Just something to think about.
